Management applauds investigating officer

KwaThema – Two more men (both 33) have been arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping and murder of Joshua Mphatswe Mokoena (32).

This comes after the victim was found on June 6, after allegedly being taken by the group of men who then assaulted and stabbed him.

Mokoena died later that evening while at the Pholosong Hospital.

The latest duo to be caught were arrested on July 29 after weeks of hunting by the local police. The first suspect (62) was arrested on June 9 and the second (30) was caught on June 28.

All four men are set to appear together at the Springs Regional Court on August 12.

“The management of the KwaThema Police Station applauds investigating officer, Detective Constable Jerry Maleka.

“Through his hard work, commitment and intense investigation he was able to make all this possible in such a short space of time,” says KwaThema police spokesman, W/O David Mphali.
