The complainant was at the corner of Kotane and Makoe streets, in Rest in Peace at about 2.20pm on Saturday when two men approached him.
One of the suspects pointed a firearm at him and dragged him out of his vehicle, while the second suspect searched the car.
The duo took a laptop bag, R44 000 in cash, wallet with R1 250 in it, ID book, driver’s licence and two cellphones belonging to the complainant.
The suspects then managed to drive away in a gold Toyota Corolla with an unknown registration number.
