This comes after an argument broke out between a suspect and the complaint (ages unknown).
“The complainant claims after the argument with the suspect, he went home to sleep at his outside room, in Extension 19.
“At 11pm, he heard a knock on the door, but before he could open it, the suspect managed to kick it open.
“The accused then allegedly hit the complainant on his head, mouth and face with a steal bar,” says police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora.
The complainant, who was rescued by his landlord, was taken to the Pholosong Hospital for medical treatment.
No arrests have been made.
