Police received a call at about 5.20am of the shooting in Bluegum View, at a house in Slovo Street.
“The complainant reported that one of her tenants, running a business from her yard, had been shot.
“The victim had sustained injuries to his shoulder and back,” says police spokesman, Capt Johannes Ramphora.
Police found three cartridges on the floor of the room where the man was shot.
A case of attempted murder is being investigated.
