Mentorship programme for young boys

Kwatsaduza - Cool Dads Foundation will be hosting a Big Brother Mentorship Programme on Saturday.

Those fortunate to have a big brother can probably relate to the sense of comfort of having them around.

A big brother can fight your battles, teach you right from wrong and even chase the boogieman away.

It’s unfortunate that not everyone has that privilege and through this mentorship programme, young males from disadvantaged backgrounds including orphans and those of single parent households, will experience what it is like having a big brother who can mentor them.

Big Brother will form part of an intensive three-year programme that will focus on various activities such as self-discovery and understanding, teamwork and brotherhood, identification of personal goals and creating a road map for your life.

“The Big Brother Mentorship Programme launch will see speakers from the foundation as well as familiar faces who will rise to the occasion for this important process,” says founder Bongani Luvalo.

The event will take place at 9am, at Ndaba Tree Park, corner Shabangu and Nkosi streets, KwaThema.

Everyone is invited to be a part of the event.
