Adams dies at 56

KwaThema – Elijah Ngelengele Adams passed away on May 4 after a long illness.

He was born on May 11, 1960 and started his primary education at Combined Primary School in KwaThema.

He proceeded to complete his secondary education at Umkomaazi Secondary.

He left and went into exile to join Umkhonto We Sizwe on December 31, 1992 and returned home in 1994.

Adams later joined the South African Infantry Battalion Corps Training on March 15, 1996 and worked at the military force based in Pretoria until he fell ill in March 2015.

He is survived by his wife Sibongile Adams and one son, Simphiwe Adams.

The 56-year-old will be laid to rest on May 14 after a funeral service that will be held at the KwaThema Skills School on Sam Ngema Drive, at 7am on Saturday.

The cortège will leave for the Vlakfontein Cemetery at 9am.
