Zamani Primary wins competition

KwaThema – The Zamani Primary School has won a new computer following its entry into a Lifebuoy competition.

Teacher and coordinator of the competition at the school, Dan Sibanda says the competition centred on educating children about hygiene, and the criteria included learning five ways of cleaning their hands and promoting healthy living for children.

“The competition was entered by our Grade Four to Seven learners and tested the learners on their general knowledge.

“We are excited as a school for winning the competition as we managed to win a printer, computer and software. This will boost our office work and help our admin staff in making their work efficient.

“This has also come at the right time, especially since we are going digital with the online application of learners,” says principal Selby Nkosi.

He adds that they continue encouraging the learners and staff to enter such competitions as it helps boost learners’ general knowledge.
