Cool Dads donate to schools

Tsakane - The Cool Dad's Foundation School Shoe Drive continued on Tuesday, when they donated 44 pairs of school shoes to learners at of Komnindlela Primary School and Letsie Primary School.

Since the beginning of the year, the foundation has embarked on getting donations for various schools around Kwatsaduza.

The campaign started with donations from the Cool Dads School Shoe Drive Picnic.

Recently they have received a generous donation courtesy of DRD Gold Limited/ Ergo Mining South Africa who donated 350 pairs of shoes for the foundation to distribute.

“Such a donation from the company has made it possible for us as a foundation to source out a large number of school shoes and to give them to various local schools,” says founder of the foundation, Bongani Luvalo.

Over a period of time Cool Dads foundation will be distributing the 700 pairs of school shoes they have received to date.

“The drive will impact the schools in our feeder zone area but is not limited to Kwatsaduza and Daveyton,” adds Luvalo.

Cool Dads would like to thank Ergo Mining and community members who made cash and shoe donations at the Cool Dads Shoe Family Picnic.
