Promising quality service to locals #MakingIt

KwaThema - "Why rush all the way to town for your tyre services, when you can get the same quality of service done right here in the township?" asks local technician Darlington Musara.

Working at the Resbucco Alignment and Tyre Services in KwaThema, with Musara serving as supervisor and technician, he shares that this business was started in the ’90s by resident Teacher Ngwenya.

He adds that the business began with just the small tyre services but now offers locals wheel alignment, wheel balancing, suspension, car services and tyre sales, he says.

“Ngwenya used to work with tyres so he saw that it was time and would be best to open his own business, which, through great service, has grown over the years.

Musara, however, believes that although this is a unique service that they offer as opposed to their competitors, the challenges they face are similar to any other business.

“As a local business we experience lack of exposure as some of our locals do not know us or what we do, hence they opt to go to town for what they can find here, in their neighbourhood.

“On the other hand, we do find those people who used to go to town for these services now coming to support us, which we appreciate.

“The one main problem we do still face is that people, sometimes our own black people, don’t trust local businesses, hence they would rather go to queue in town, whereas they could come here to get the same quality of service,” he says.

Musara emphasises that what makes his business stand out from the rest is the quality of service they offer. He says this business offers locals two qualified technicians for alignment, so clients will be in good hands when they go to them.

He encourages residents of Kwatsaduza to visit their shop at corner Kgaswane and Ramothibe streets to try their services, as they operate daily.
