Encouraging local women to go into business
Tsakane – All local women from Tsakane who are interested in starting up or running successful businesses are invited to attend an empowerment event to be conducted by the organisation called From a Girl to a Woman (FAGTAW).
The purpose of the event is to help empower women with information.
The event will be conducted under the theme ‘The Woman in Me’ and speakers for the day will include Memorial Moreki, Kgaugelo Ledipi and Sthembile Zondo.
The event will kick off at 10am on April 16, at the Tsakane Old Age Home.
“We are inviting any women from Tsakane who are interested in business to come and attend, as the people who we have invited to speak are all successful business owners.
“We want these women to encourage other local women to go into business.
“In addition to this, since our organisation deals with donating sanitary towels to young girls locally, we ask that all women who will be attending come with sanitary towels donations which will be collected at the door,” says founder of FAGTAW Nomvuyo Sibeko.
