Entrepreneurs invited to business expo

KwaThema - A Khuthole Business Expo will take place on March 19 at the Praise and Worship Bible Ministries in KwaThema.

The event is set to run from 10am to 3pm and will focus on topics of business registration, compliance, marketing, business planning and sustainability and growth of a business.

According to the organiser of the event, Bonginkosi Sithole, the expo will offer educational programmes and development of opportunities for upcoming entrepreneurs, regardless of their disabilities or gender.

It will further focus on educating people and raise awareness on entrepreneurship and its perks, so that South Africans can have ways to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country.

“In addition to being educated about business, the expo will serve as an opportunity for upcoming entrepreneurs to come and present their ideas so that they can receive advice from corporate company representatives who might even invest in their ideas.

“As South Africans we are struggling with young people getting employment, resulting in a higher rate of unemployment and hence we need to deal with problem.

“We can’t just turn a blind eye to socio-economic issues that are deemed to be the reason why we are experiencing this high rate of unemployment,” says Sithole.
