Police spokesperson for KwaThema SAPS, W/O David Mphali, says the complainant says she was in the house, visiting her boyfriend, when the incident occurred.
“While the boyfriend was out, the complainant says she was woken by the noise of the window being opened forcefully.
“The man broke the burglar bar, entered the room, and covered the complainant with a blanket while instructing her not to make a noise.
“He then took a laptop and cellphone, to the value of R9 099, and fled on foot,” says Mphali.
The woman was able to get help and has opened a case of house robbery at the KwaThema Police Station.
