Low show of audience, encourages Ximba to work harder

KwaThema – The Youth Professionals Business Seminar took place at the Word of Truth Family Church in KwaThema Extension Two on Saturday.

A local resident, Innocent Ximba (19), hosted the event.

The seminar aimed at educating and motivating the youth on starting up their own businesses, was hampered by the low attendance.

“There has always been challenges regarding the planning and execution of the event and even though we didn’t receive the expected number of people, I am grateful to Emmanuel Bonoko and his team who came to support the seminar,” Ximba explains.

“They have really helped me in seeing which areas I can grow and improve in, and they have offered to mentor me more so I can improve on these seminars and on motivating more young people,” he says.

Ximba believes that though he is not yet where he wants to be, he will get there and will continue with his dream of motivating the youth of KwaThema.

He says at this young age, he is pleased with the lessons he learns and will continue to grow from them, on his journey to fulfilling his dream of being a professional motivational speaker who uplifts his community.

“I am really proud of this young man for putting together such an event at his age. This was a great learning curve for him, and out of this more will come,” says mentor and one of the motivational speakers on the day, Emmanuel Bonoko.
