According to the Springs SAPS spokesperson, Capt Johannes Ramphora, it is believed that the woman was murdered over the weekend.“The woman had been beaten up and murdered.
“At this stage, we are still unsure about her age or what might have happened to her.
“It is believed that she was at a gathering with her friend, or partner, however she left alone and that was the last time she was seen, till her body was discovered,” says Ramphora.
He could not confirm the time at which the police we were called to the scene, but says it was during the early hours of Monday morning when officers at the station received a call.
Ramphora says they are busy investigating a case of murder.
