Technicians have attended to the problem in Springs and it has been resolved.
It was caused by an electrical fault at the Selcourt reservoir which resulted in Selcourt and Nuffield being without water.
Although the cause of the interruption has been resolved, the tower is yet to fill up.
Meanwhile, technicians have also identified the cause of the problem at the KwaThema reservoir and are working at restoring supply by the end of the day.
One roving water tanker has been made available in each of these areas.
The municipality apologises for any inconveniences caused.
