Career Day fun at Zamani Primary School

KwaThema - A Career Day was recently hosted at Zamani Primary School for Grade Seven learners.

The learners dressed up and did presentations on their possible future careers, and Gauteng East district officials from the Department of Education were also present.

“The purpose of the event was to educate learners about the careers they want to pursue after school, whether the jobs match their personalities and what subjects they need to take.

“The day was observed by all Grade Seven learners at the school and we are pleased as it gave us a glimpse of what will be produced by our school for our country.

“This gives us hope that great professionals will be joining our labour markets within the coming years,” says senior phase HOD, Simon Thabethe.

He encouraged learners to also consider becoming teachers, police officers, nurses and engineers, as the country needs such professionals.

School principal Humphrey Chiloane, life orientation coordinator Busi Nhlapho and the school management team thanks the district officials for organising the event.
