Seminar for the young.
KwaThema – A Young Professionals Business Seminar will take place on October 24, at the Word of Truth Family Church in KwaThema Extension Two, from 3pm.
The purpose of the event is to educate and motivate the youth on how and why they should start their own businesses.
The seminar will be hosted by Innocent Ximba (19), who is a professional motivational speaker, Bonginkosi Sithole (23), an entrepreneur, and Nkosinathi Zwane (20), a motivational speaker.
“As young entrepreneurs we want to share with our peers on how to be relevant in business, our experiences, challenges and how we faced them and our successes.
“We also want to encourage them to start their own companies and build their own brands since, from our research, we found that the highest statistics of unemployment are of the youth.
“Don’t just create a business because of unemployment, be passionate about it,” says Ximba.
Speakers will also talk about capital and how to start a business without it, how to start a business, working at it and trying again if it fails.
“Young people always have excuses for not starting businesses but that should change.
“We want to start emphasising the importance of dreams, becoming young entrepreneurs and doing something that will change your life for the better,” says Sithole.
Speakers who will give talks on the day include Oros Mampofu, Emmanuel Bonoko, Tumelo Gama and Ximba.
