Passed matric? You can help others

Duduza - To curb the high rate of unemployment in the community, a new project will see past matriculants educate school learners.

The Gurigude Project is set to start at the end of September and 200 matric certificate holders can apply to be part of the programme.

Ward councillor Silas Letsimo says there are far too many young people sitting in the township not doing anything, so this project aims to keep them busy and help other students who are still in school.

“The project will also be beneficial to the unemployed youth because bursaries will be awarded to them to further their studies,” says Letsimo.

Interested individuals can deliver their CVs and necessary documentation at the Duduza Participate Office in Nala Street.
