Sehlako dies at 97

Duduza - Petros Lengola Mlangeni- Sehlako fom Duduza died at the age of 97.

He died on Saturday at his home after a short illness.

Sehlako was a member of the Nigel Taxi Association from 1935 until 2004.

He was dedicated to working in the community and served as the School Governing Body chairman in a number of primary and secondary schools in Duduza.

At the time of his death, Sehlako was the bishop at Izikhova Ezimqini Church which he joined over 25 years ago.

He was blessed with 19 children – 10 boys and nine girls, 54 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held on Sunday at the Duduza Multipurpose Centre from 7am.

The cortége will leave for the Nigel Cemetery at 10am.
