It’s high time the youth get involved

Kwatsaduza - Young pastors from the Deliverance by Fire Church in Tsakane call upon the youth of Kwatsaduza to fight substance abuse and crime through prayer.

Pastor Thato Seleke (23) claims there has been an increase in crime and substance abuse since the beginning of the year and says it is high time the youth get involved and do something about these issues affecting the community.

“We are the future leaders of our communities and country, and we need to stand firm and address the issues facing us as the community of Kwatsaduza,” says Seleke.

The church, which is led by young pastors between the ages of 18 and 25, will be hosting a series of night vigils and conferences for youngsters to receive education about substance abuse and career skills.

Pastor Sandile Nhlapo (25) says it will be beneficial for young people to experience their programmes and be inspired by other young people who are doing great things with their lives.

The first night vigil will take place on August 28, at the Jabba Mission Church in KwaThema, corner Ntsindi and Thema roads, from 9.30pm till 5am.
