Duduza police spokesman W/O Yakub Rasool said Annette Mashile was found guilty of murder in the Nigel Regional Court.
In November 2014, Mashile poisoned her three and eight-year-old children. The eight-year-old died later in hospital.
“The children were later rushed to Pholosong Hospital,” said Rasool who also explained that Mashile accused her 52-year-old husband of cheating on her.
Mashile was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment with seven years suspended for five years and was declared unfit to possess a firearm.
