Ximba, who hails from KwaThema, has been nominated at the South African Man of the Year awards, in the youth developer category.
He explains that it came as a shock to him, that he was nominated for such an award.
“I was not expecting it, this soon. I wasn’t aware that people are noticing the work I do with the youth,” says Ximba.
The marketing student has done a number of gigs this year, including appearing in four episodes of the youth magazine show, Mzansi Insider.
Ximba explains that he has pegged the title of the Youngest Professional Motivational Speaker in Gauteng.
“This is the first year that I am speaking professionally, making me the youngest in my field,” he says.
He is motivated by the likes of Vusi Thembikwayo and Eric Thomas in his field, and aspires to be the best in the country in the near future.
Ximba is also working on his new business venture, Cool Christian Clothing, that he recently launched, making T-shirts that have a positive message.
