This is after the suspect allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman in his room, at a school where he works as a security guard.
Captain Mandla Phori says the victim told the police that she visited her boyfriend to wash his clothes and clean the room.
He says the victim revealed that when she wanted to go home, her boyfriend refused to let her leave the room and he later raped her.
The KwaThema police are investigating a case of rape and the suspect is expected to appear in the KwaThema Magistrates Court soon.
