Argument ends in death

Tsakane - An 18-year-old died in hospital after he was allegedly beaten by a tuck shop owner.

The incident took place on Saturday at around 7pm.

Police station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Petros Shilane, says it is alleged that the deceased had an argument with the 25-year-old tuck shop owner.

He says the suspect and his friend assaulted the victim who was then taken to Pholosong Hospital for treatment.

The victim died in hospital and the police are investigating a case of murder.

Two suspects have been arrested and will appear in the Tsakane Magistrate Court.
