Tsakane police spokesman Capt Petros Mabuza says the suspect, who is a taxi driver, allegedly raped a 19-year-old girl.
It is alleged that the victim, who was with her friend inside the suspect’s car, was travelling to Dunnottar when the suspect drove them to his place, where he raped the girl.
The police are investigating a case of rape and the suspect will soon appear in the Tsakane Magistrates Court.
