Beauties in line for Miss Kwatsaduza title

The Miss Teen, Pre-teen & Petite Kwatsaduza semifinals took place at the Tsakane Community Hall on June 6.

Event co-ordinator Percy Mohale says 31 models from the community of Kwatsaduza were selected to take part as finalists.

According to Mohale, the semifinals were a tough round and also exciting, as they were also choosing winners in each category, including the best interviewed model of the day.

He says guest judges who were present were Miss Commonwealth SA finalist Tebogo Mamosebo and Miss Heritage SA finalist Nomfanelo Nelo

“Our preliminary round was to look for ladies who possess certain qualities, such as mannerism, personality, eager to secure a career, excellent public speaking, interpersonal skills and someone who will work hand-in-hand with our two chosen NGO’s, Fagtaw (From a girl to a woman) and the Matsatsi le Mapula Children’s Foundation “.

Mohale explains that the finalists for Miss Kwatsaduza 2015 will be engaging in a number of community assignments and leadership training before the crowning.

He says finalists will be groomed by top pageant industry coaches and will attend a few workshops on topics such as make-up, hair-treatment and nails

In conclusion, he says the journey has begun to decide who will be walking away with the crown and a share of R30 000 to represent Kwatsaduza.
