According to KwaThema police spokesman Capt Mandla Phori, a scrapyard in Baduza Street was burgled at about 2pm.
He says the 35-year-old owner of the scrapyard received a call from a security guard on the premises informing him of the break-in.
The owner arrived to investigate and discovered equipment missing from the office.
Phori did not specify the type of equipment.
Two men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested, and are expected to appear in the KwaThema Magistrate Court soon.
