Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora says Portia Masabatha Pule (25) and a 16-year-old boy, who may not be named as he is under age, were found guilty of the rape of a nine-year-old girl in January, last year.
Ramphora says Pule called the little girl into her house in Jordaan Street, Duduza, and instructed her to take off her clothes, before leaving her with the boy who raped her.
The pair later released the girl.
The teenager was found guilty of rape and kidnapping, and was sentenced to five years imprisonment.
Pule was sentenced to five years community service.
