Nkopane family in tears after the death of Andrew

Duduza - Former Duduza resident Andrew Nkopane (45) died in a car accident in Cape Town last Friday.

Andrew attended Thakgalang and Mmuso Primary Schools in Duduza, and matriculated from Esibonelwesihle Secondary School.

He went to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology where he studied a diploma in business management.

Nkopane worked for different Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies such as South African Breweries before becoming an entrepreneur five years ago when he moved to Cape Town.

He was involved in many community development projects, and worked with the Duduzani Tshidisehang community organisation.

According to one of his brothers Aubrey Nkopane, Andrew was not just a businessman, but a motivational speaker and an inspiration to the youth of Duduza.

He leaves behind his wife Zandile Nkopane, three children Tshepo, Naledi and Lesedi, two brothers Aubrey and Sello, and his sister Halio Nkopane.

His memorial service was held yesterday at the Monty Motloung Hall.

The funeral service will be held at 8am tomorrow (Saturday) at the Duduza Multi-Purpose Hall.

The cortège will leave for the Nigel Cemetery at 12.30pm.
