Class of 1995 gives back
Tsakane - Former students of Letsie Primary School made a donation to the school on Friday morning.
Former student Madikwena Mogotsi says the group decided to give back school jerseys to the school to show appreciation for the education they received.
“The spirit of love is what brought us back home,” she adds.
Mogotsi explains that it was a collective idea, inspired by an old photo of the group, and that it is important to never forget from where you came and to be proud of your roots.
According to her, the group is in the process of adopting the school.
Former student Lebogang Moagi says the former classmates made contact with each other on Facebook.
She adds that the aim of giving back was to inspire the current students not to give in to the social challenges faced by young people on a daily basis.
