The Ekurhuleni Women’s League game was played at the KwaThema Stadium.
Even though Ayoba have been training hard and were ready for the game, it was clear Silver Spears from Vosloorus were the better side.
Ten minutes into the first half of the game, Spears player Lerato Lepheane put the ball into the back of the net.
Just when Spears were celebrating their lead, however, Ayoba’s Nelisiwe Siboko scored an equalising goal.
Ayoba’s joy was soon shattered by a second Spears goal scored by Naomi Ramakhetheng.
The first half came to an end with Spears in the lead.
The second half of the game saw another seven goals scored by Spears.
The goals were scored by Lerato Lepheane, Johanna Baloyi, Rose Molikisane, Nomfundo Mncube who scored twice, Martha Mpatsiea, and Simangele Diphoko.
