Different companies motivates youth
KwaThema - Gap year students from KwaThema gathered in numbers at the KwaThema hall last Friday to be educated about career planning and development.
Event co-director Thato Mopeloa welcomed those in attendance and added the purpose of the event is to share information on careers such as supply chain management, a career path not considered by many.
Mopeloa explains goal planning is very important when venturing into a career and young people must grab career opportunities from an early age.
Boniswa Zwane, a business owner from KwaThema, advises the youth of Kwatsaduza to consider supply chain management as a career path.
“The youth must prioritise their careers instead of investing too much time in their social lives,” says Zwane.
Enterprise Developer Mamotheo Mekgwe told the youngsters passion will take you further in any career.
Mekgwe encouraged the youth to develop a product that will sell and always have a business plan if you are hoping to own your own business one day.
