Black Tigers to represent Ekurhuleni

The Black Tigers male netball team will represent Ekurhuleni at the Gauteng Provincial Netball Trials.

The trials will be held at the University of Johannesburg on Wednesday.

The team comprises Soso Madla (captain), Sibusiso Mafuyanduna, Bakithi Nkosi, Vusi Mayonyo, Skhalo Mosheledi, Thabiso Mgomezulu, Sibusiso Ncamane and Pheello Phadime.

Madla explains that the Department of Sports and Recreation is looking for two A teams and one B team to compete nationally.

According to Madla, they will be competing with netball players from the north to the east of Gauteng at this year’s championships

“We are more than ready to compete, as we’ve been preparing since the beginning of the year,” says player Skhalo Mosheledi.

Mosheledi adds the team plays with determination and puts in a lot of hard work to maintain its standard.
