Former teacher dies at 50

Basitsane Catherine Moorosi (50), a resident of Interland Section, KwaThema, died yesterday.

Moorosi died at the Life New Kensington Clinic, in Johannesburg, after a long illness.

Since 1988, Moorosi was an educator at Michael Zulu Primary School, and also taught at Brakpan High School from 2008.

At the time of her death, she was working as a senior education specialist in curriculum at the Gauteng Department of Education’s Ekurhuleni South District.

She is survived by two daughters, Sindisiwe and Nokuthula Moorosi, and three sisters, Stella Moholo, Pinkie Moorosi and Matshidiso Dlamini.

Her funeral service will be held at 8am, on Sunday, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in KwaThema.

The cortège will leave for Vlakfontein Cemetery at 10am.
