KwaThema Skills School receives uniforms

The Department of Education and the Department of Social Development allocated a school uniform service provider for the KwaThema Skills School in January.

According to co-ordinator of the School Based Support Team (SBST), Thandi Sibeko, says the school is thankful to the department the service provider gave the school free school uniforms for disadvantaged learners at the school.

She explains the service provider came to the school in January to measure the students and have now returned Friday 20 with gifts (uniforms) for the learners.

Deputy Principal Themba Maphalala says this will help learners who are disadvantaged not to be identifiable when engaging with other people socially as they will also be wearing full school uniform.

He urges parents to help the school in ensuring that their children are always neat and maintain the uniform on a weekly basis.
