Forum donates school uniforms

Kwatsaduza Community Development Forum donated school uniforms last Friday.

The newly developed forum, formed by non-profit organisations and the individual community members from Kwatsaduza, is running a school project drive.

The project is aimed at helping learners to ensure that they have school uniform.

Organisation’s Lindokuhle Makhubo said the forum identified four schools around Kwatsaduza.

He said with the help of the teachers in those schools, ten learners were chosen in each school and were given brand new school uniforms including school bags.

The identified schools are Michael Mkhwanazi Primary School, Langaville Primary School, Nkumbulo Comprehensive School and Thandi Sibeko Secondary School in Duduza.

Makhubo explained that the project was made possible by two sponsors.

“Because the forum’s objectives is to develop the community and make a difference in people’s lives, it was an honour to see the smiles of those learners as they received their uniforms,” said Makhubo.

He thanked all those who made it possible for the organisation to put a smile on the faces of many learners while also encouraging them to love education.
