Bad road worries the community
Driving on some of the roads in Geluksdal is not a pleasant experience.
The roads are full of pot holes while the drains next to the roads are blocked.
One of the blocked drains is at Calldina Curve.
Resident Zelodia Botha said they have learnt to live with the problem.
Botha said the blocked drain makes it difficult for the cars to drive there especially when it rains because it gets filled with water which makes a huge dam in the middle of the road.
“It is a problem that needs urgent attention,” said Botha.
Kenneth Williams confirmed that it is impossible to use that road when it rains.
He said the metro needs to intervene and ensure that proper maintenance is done on that road.
The metro has offered no comment by the time this article went to print.
