Local resident to attend state of the nations’ address

Among the people who will attend the State of the Nation's Address to be held in Cape Town is Rev Steven Vusumuzi Mbatha from KwaThema.

All eyes and ears will be on the president’s speech tomorrow (Thursday) as he will be giving the State of the Nation address.

Many residents are interested to hear about the state of the health and education facilities and how the government plans to speed up the process of service delivery, especially in the townships and rural areas.

Mbatha who is the national road safety ambassador says it is a great honour for him to be elected by the premier of Gauteng, David Makhura to attend one of the most important parliamentary events in the country.

“I feel so honoured to be given an opportunity to be among those who are elected to attend such an important event in country,” said Mbatha.
