Brakpan bus company workers on strike

Striking bus drivers from the Brakapan Bus Company have left school going children stranded since Monday afternoon without transport to go to school.

Parent Ntombi Ntshingila, who lives in Tsakane, says her three children were stranded on Monday afternoon when the Brakpan bus did not fetch her children.

She says the Brakpan bus has failed them because they fetched the children in the morning yet did not bother to inform them.

Ntshingila says what worries her is the school did not even try to organise alternative transport as her children had to walk from Brakpan to Tsakane.

She says she has continuously called the bus company yesterday and could not receive answers.
