Talent show for young people

Young people from Kwatsaduza got an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The talent show for singers, dancers, comedians and poets was made possible by the Blaq Mind, a new multi media company in Tsakane Extension Five.

Residents gathered at the Ekurhuleni World Outreach Centre in Tsakane to witness the talent that exists in Kwatsaduza while others were happy to showcase their God-given talents.

Event organiser, Sibusiso Nkwashu said the event was aimed an exposing different talents that the youth have.

Those who took part in the show are participants between the ages of six and 30 years.

Nkwashu also explained that the youth from Johannesburg, Nigel and Vosloorus also took part in the show.

He said his company believes that not everyone will have to go to school before having a decent job and be able to feed their families.

“Others will have to use their talents in order to succeed in life,” said Nkwashu.

Adding that the company believes in the power of education, but also encourages the youth to use what they love and believe in to provide for their families.

One of the participants in the event, song-writer, performer and a guitarist, Sindile Mnisi, also encouraged the young stars to follow their dreams.

“You need to perform for a small crowd to gain strength and confidence to entertain a large crowd,” motivated Mnisi.

She appealed to the Blaq Mind to continue hosting the shows that will play a part in shaping the future of the young people in the township.
