Captain Johannes Ramphora of the Springs police says two guards were busy inside a car, signing in for work when a group of suspects opened shots through the suspects’ car windscreen.
One of the victims was shot on the head while the other victim managed to jump out of the car and shot back at suspects before calling for back-up.
The woman security guard was declared dead on the scene.
No arrest has been made and the police are investigating a murder case.
