Church celebrates heritage
The youth are invited to a heritage celebration, to be held at the KwaThema Assemblies of God, on Sunday.
Sphumi Mabena, from the church’s youth structure, who will also be delivering a keynote address.
Giya Africa and Friends with Mabena Brothers season three will be held with the aim of reminding young people about their cultural roots.
On the day, different speakers will encourage the youth and educate them about the importance of their heritage.
“There will also be a praise and worship session, to praise God in an African way,” he said.
Xolani Jwaga encouraged the youth to dress in traditional attire on the day.
He said, to keep the audience entertained, there will be live performances by Ncebakazi Msomi, Thulani Sithela and Xolani Jwaga, to mention just a few.
The event will start at 3pm, at the Assemblies of God, and no entrance fee will be required.
