Metro police appoints chief superintendents

With this the metro police aims to boost its operative management.

Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) boosted its operative management by appointing 13 chief superintendents.

Senior Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, spokesman of the EMPD says most of these officers are deployed in the EMPD’s operations division to ensure the efficiency and effectual control and planning at first line management level.

The officers Gwen N Gina, Nomawethu P Mafa, Nina Lynch (acting Chief of Police), Johan Friedlander, (deputy Chief of Police and Operations), Goodman Mzolo, Bheki Nhlapo, Jabu S Dhladhla, Lucky J Mbhele, Julius D Mkhwanazi, Nathan Muthayan, Mokhele JM Matjiu, Bob T Motshabi, Vusi Mabanga, Kgabo M Mashalane and Pennie Erlank were promoted from within the EMPD with effect from September 1.
