PAC cleans KwaThema Old Age Centre
Members of the PAC cleaned the KwaThema Old Age Centre on Friday.
The members of the party spent their day cleaning the centre while others were planting vegetables at the centre’s food garden.
According to Tshepo Mwasi, member of the PAC this was the first time that his party cleaned the centre.
He said the aim of their outreach was to ensure that the senior citizens live in a clean environment.
“We also wanted to ensure that we help them plant more veggies in the garden so as to be able to have something to eat while in the centre,” he said.
Adding that they will visit the centre every month to assist where their help is needed.
Mwasi also revealed that it is his party’s dream to get a bigger piece of land where the senior citizens can plant many veggies to feed themselves and their families while also selling some of the veggies to earn the income,” he concluded.
