RDP beats Deep Level

A friendly game between RDP and Deep Level ended with an overall score of 4-1.

Following the dismissal of the first two games of the day after the players’ failure to attend the games, the Tsamaya League officials had no choice but to schedule a friendly game between RDP and Deep Level.

The game was played at Malandela Ground on Sunday.

One could tell that RDP was really ready for the game.

The first goal of the game was scored by RDP’s Jacky Maseko during the first half.

Thabiso Marumo put a second goal for the RDP behind the net, extending the lead.

The referee blew the whistle to end the first half of the game and the cold weather on the day did not chase away the teams’ supporters.

The second half of the game saw the Deep Level players pulling up their socks.

Thabo Mabhena scored the first goal for Deep Level, a goal that gave hope to the players and the team’s supporters.

It was only a few minutes after Thabo’s goal when Jacky scored a third goal for RDP.

Just when Deep Level thought they still had a chance to equalise with RDP, Jacky put the ball behind the net for the third time, giving his team a good lead.

The score was 4-1 when the referee blew the whistle to end the game.
