66. GRIP: • Spend 67 minutes doing maintenance at the Nelspruit Police Station Care Room. The Nelspruit Care Room is in a state. With broken  tiles, broken couches and the walls in dire need of a repaint, you can spend your 67 minutes giving the care room a makeover.  You could also donate paint, couches or money towards the care room.

•  Donate R67 to GRIP: R67 may seem minimal but each rand is another rand the GRIP programme didn’t have before. Come around to   GRIPs offices at 17 Ehmke Street and put R67 into our donation box.

•  Knit a teddy bear: GRIP always needs teddy bears to comfort survivors. Please contact our offices on 013 752 4404 or send us an email at info@grip.org.za if you’d like to work with GRIP on Mandela Day or if you have other ideas about how you’d like to get involved.

67.  The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) needs blood. In Mbombela you can donate at the donation stations in Riverside and I’langa malls as well as the SANBS offices in Banket Street, Mondays to Fridays 09:00-18:00 and Saturdays until 13:00.
