Stabbed to death while fighting over a girl

Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora says the deceased was on his way home from a nearby tavern when the suspect approached him.

He says according to the statement that the police have, the suspect and the deceased had an argument, allegedly about a girl that they are allegedly both dating.

The deceased was then stabbed in the chest by the suspect who fled the scene with the help of his friend.

“The suspect was taken away from the scene to Slovo by his friend,” says Ramphora, adding that the friend has been arrested for defeating the ends of justice and the suspect is still at large.
