Youth in business get advice

Up and coming entrepreneurs were given advises on how to grow their business during the Lion Stern launch in KwaThema

A new organisation that helps advise young people in business in ways of growing their business, was launched on Saturday.

Lion Stern is a non profit organisation that assists the youth to grow their business by giving them advice and coaching when necessary to ensure the success of their businesses.

According to the founder, Thabang Mabuza (26), the organisation already exists in some of the provinces while also looking forward at launching it in other areas of the country.

On Saturday the youth in business from KwaThema gathered at the venue to present their different businesses such as recycling, marketing and technology before a panel of experts in business.

The up-and-coming entrepreneurs were given advice on how to run their businesses while also being complimented on the areas where they excel.

The day was also about encouraging the unemployed youth to start their own businesses to be able to provide for their families.

Mabuza says the day was also aimed at celebrating Youth Day in a way that will benefit the young people.

He thanked all the companies and the government departments that made the day possible; bringing awareness of starting businesses to the youth and also helping them grow their existing businesses.

Kamogelo Masemola, fine artist from KwaThema, says on the day he learnt more tricks about starting, running a successful business and maintaining it.
