Career Exhibition in Tsakane
High school learners attended the career guidance on Saturday
The Maths Centre held a maps and mirrors day for the high school learners in and around Tsakane.
The event held at Buhlebemfundo Secondary School in Tsakane on Saturday was aimed at giving guidance in choosing the right careers.
The organisation offers mathematics, physical science and technology interventions in schools in all provinces.
Officials from the department of education, motivational speakers and the students from different universities were present to provide the learners with the information that will help them choose the careers that they like.
The organisation’s provincial manager Confident Nkwazi, says the event helped the learners decide about the careers that they believe will change their lives for the better.
“If communities, including the professionals, work together in providing the information on different careers, I believe that we will win a battle against learners who choose careers because of the pressure that they get from the people around them,” said Nkwazi.
