A 34-year-old woman was arrested for the possession of dagga on Wednesday.
According to KwaThema police spokesman Captain Mandla Phori the woman was arrested at the KwaThema hostel.
He says the police who were patrolling in that area received a tip off from the community members informing them of a woman who deals with dagga and nyaope.
“The police searched the woman’s room and found a bag full of dagga to the street value of R3 000,” says Phori.
Adding that nyaope was also found in possession of the suspect.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Springs magistrate court soon for possession of dagga .
